how long is a piece of string

    hi.

i've been charged with estimating the amount of time it will take for a newbie to get actinic up and up and running for a store with 1000 products.

it will be an ordering system rather than a full store.

i have no idea really, just looking at actinic and trying to clear my head of plain html to do it.

    thanks in advance.
i'm out of bed and at the keyboard. what
    more do you want?

Are the products in a spreadsheet file or will they need to be entered manually?

Sometimes, it is quicker for a newbie to enter product details in Excel or in a Word table (rather than Actinic) because they are more familiar with Word or Excel. They can then be imported in one hit.

Assuming you just have simple products with no choices, assuming it takes about 3 mins per product (and you are doing it for 5 hours a day) then it will take about 10 days to get the product data in. That's just maths though - it depends on the person entering the products.
