Remote assistance software

Hi
I am looking into remote support software so that I can use it to remotely access my customer’s computers by prior arrangement
I have looked into netviewer (.com) which I have had some experience from when receiving support from Actinic, but I am put off by the ongoing costs as this is for occasional use. I have found simple-help (.com) which costs about £189 outright purchase and is self hosted.
Does anyone have experience with simple-help or anything else I should consider?
