Actinic Back Ups. Where do you keep yours? One of my laptops just died this afternoon, perhaps its the HOT weather! but this reminded me that i really must back up my actinic shop and keep a copy of it on another pc or disk or online storage or somewhere?

      Daily snapshot to external drive
Daily upload of snapshot and sites folder using Mozy
      Weekly drive image using Acronis
Monthly, or when I remember, transfer last 3 snapshots and site folder to another PC 15 miles away.

        1. Snapshot to external drive
        2. Snapshot to PC
        3. Snapshot to external drive at home
        4. Looking at secure online backup as an extra option as well.

There is always at least 1 current copy away from the business address. I don't personally like USB "dongle" type backups as I have had a few fail, they easily get lost, and some odd compatiblilty issues with password protection software.

          1.
Raid drive on inhouse server plus backup, plus removable backup disk

          2. Jans easy backup every hour backed up to NAS

          3. Take home backup No1 and Last backup of MDB from 2.

4 Monthly backup acronis of my computer

Jans easy backup has saved me a fortune in lost hours over the last few years, so many times I will just do this little change and forget to take a snapshot first and sod law it crashes actinic, just never learn, but the hourly backup always saves the day and limits the damage. Just need to reduce the temptation to fiddle with it without engaging whats left for a brain
