    E-Commerce Shows / Conferences

    Good Afternoon all,

In peoples experiences does anyone find visiting e-commerce shows/ conferences worthwhile? and are there any you would recommend?

    Cheers

I usually visit the eCommerce Expo at Olympia each year.

As always, plenty of fluff and too many stands selling the same things, but I always find one or two gems, be they products, services or Seminars.

The Seminars are brilliant - great to see what new ideas are around and get some pointers on how to solve problems.
Make sure you buy a Seminar Pass (or whatever it's called) though, otherwise you'll spend all day queuing and waste the day.
I usually go for 1.5 days.

Definitely worth the fuel/hotel investment, for us anyway.

      Ecommerce shows.

The seminars are great, and I agree that the pass is the way to go, otherwise you que for ages, and don't get into the seminars. The April Internet World was also very useful. It's also a good way to keep up with trends and new ideas.

Hopefully the SellerDeck conference on October 17th will be well worth it

The conferences are always very worthwhile both for the content as well as the opportunity to chat to like minded people.
