    Google search of hidden products?

I have read something on this forum that I would like to check on to make sure. At present I have not added keywords etc to hidden products (for example, different flavours of a main product) as I assumed that Google would not spider these as they are hidden. Instead I have suitable keywords on the visible main product. However, something posted recently about Google product feeds suggests that they pick up the hidden info. I am not using product feed, but I would like normal Google searches to pick them up if possible. Does anybody know whether or not this is the case? If so, I'll get busy adding them.

If the products are hidden then google can't see them on the website and you'd be wasting your time.

If those same hidden products are included in the google product feed (it's a tick box option) then you should complete any relevant info for those products.

I'm a bit confused by what you mean when you say 'keywords'. If you're talking about the meta tags then those aren't included in the product feed anyway.

      That's What I Thought

Thanks Mike. The first sentence of your reply is what I thought, which is why I haven't ever entered anything for the hidden products. I am referring to the Page Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords as on Sellerdeck.

What threw me was somebody's posting the other day about Google product feeds, suggesting that one should enter these for that. However, I do not use product feeds, so it is not relevant to me.
