After more than 2 decades with Sellerdeck, we made the decision last year to move Titan Jewellery across to WooCommerce.
It was, of course, a steep learning curve compared to what we were used to, and even now we are still working through a small list of bugs and teething problems following the changeover this weekend. Overall though, we are very happy with the move and the direction it allows us to take the business.
One of the things I like most about WooCommerce is the flexibility. Being able to write your own code separately from the core platform makes editing and development far easier. With the help of AI, it has also become relatively straightforward to build custom plugins and functionality tailored to your own business.
A large part of our new site has been custom written in house, including our engraving plugins, engraving preview software, and many of the back office systems we now use behind the scenes to improve workflow and automation.
That said, Sellerdeck played a huge role in our business journey and kept us going for well over 20 years. I would like to thank everyone on the forums who helped us over the years, especially the great Norman, whose knowledge and support were invaluable.
Wishing Sellerdeck and its community all the best for the future.
