here's a new twist that I've just received
its claiming to be a payment that you can just upload into your quickbooks installation

click on it, it installs an add-on that then promptly pinches bank and credit card details

another one - you have been warned, they are trying new tricks all the time

I've captured the email so that there's no actual links uploaded so you can see the design of the email

Sneaky.

These financial fraudsters are definitely getting smarter. I was impressed with the ones that hacked into the database of, I think it was, VISAs middle eastern card issuer. They then programmed up a few cards and had people walking around New York pulling money out of all the card machines.

It sounds more like the kind of thing people dream up rather than real life.

luckily I don't bother with FaceBookm Flikr etc but I know a lot of people who do,
