  • Some very sad news

It is with tremendous sadness that I must advise the community of the untimely passing of a truly great developer John Higgins of Bikster, otherwise known on the community as Jont. John passed away on 27 November 2014.

The news came as a terrible shock to me, as I'm sure it will to you. Jont was a long standing member of the SellerDeck/Actinic community, always very happy to help anyone as well as have some fun. A very competant developer and site designer.

John joined the community in 2005 and made over 11000 posts, a great contributor, in fact his last post was the day before he died. He was held in very high esteem with all his friends and clients on both personal and business levels.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of all the community as well as SellerDeck/Actinic staff and aquaintances in saying that our thoughts are with his wife and family at this time.

    RIP Jonty.

I wonder what he thinks about being in "Any Other Business" LOL

                        I am quite shocked

He was very helpful to me on many occasions. I tend to assume that everybody is around for ever.

Deeply shocked and saddened to hear this news. John was a gentleman with great technical ability and flair which he applied to the development of my website. His generous contributions to this forum will be missed.
