Wish list - image resizing

Is there any likelyhood that image resizing could be built into Actinic? For example, could a photo 400x300 be automatically resized to make a thumbnail that is 50% of the original size?

Failing Actinic doing that, does anyone know of anything that could run alongside Actinic, that would do the same job?
