    Currencies / Languages / labels

    Hello,

I have a trial version running and I have 3 requirments that I cannot easily see if they are supported and/or if there is a workaround in place. I did try searching individually on this but found no hits...so apologies for the new thread.

    1) I want to set up a European wide shop running in multiple languages an currencies. Does it do it...and how. Freeware like OS C. does so I am expecting this to...somehow

    2) I need to have packing sticky labels with certain information on the outside of the package, preferably with bar coding for Customs ID and Customer receipting into stock....is this standard ? if so how/where.

    Thanks
    Thanks

    Hi

Can I know which version of the software you are testing at the moment?

        Hi

        shop running in multiple languages
I have conferred with my senior colleagues about this. According to them, this is not possible in Actinic. You would need to set up different stores for different languages

        Cheers

          RE Languages

          Hello,

If I set up different stores in different text languages I can see how I can control the text on this to give the appearance of a site in a Foreign Language, however won't the Frame titles / Headers e.g. "Checkout" still appear in English. I think I need a set of PHP files per language, stored in their own sub-directory, selected by the User when they log in ?

I want to maintain my prices in Euros, but let the Customer choose the Text to display...for example in Belgium there are three official Languages, plus a lot of English....I cannot tell a potential Belgian Customer to pick one of 4 different Web Sites to order from ! He needs to log onti one and pick his appropriate Language......

I guess Actinic doesn't do it. I'm running V6 ECommerce.
          Thanks

            I'm afraid you are right.

You can translate all the 'Checkout' headings and other headings in 'Design | Text' - but Actinic generates static HTML pages - you cannot really change the content of them based on client-side input.
