    Definition of aceptable use.

We are considering adding some more "adult" toys to our site in addition to the novelty items available now, which we've discussed previously and agreed the format there of.

What is the Actinic "detailed" policy upon sites using the software for sale of adult themed goods?

We know that some ISPs and MSPs have policy upon such and ask your clarification as (1) a user and (2) a support client.

Content would be less adult that http://www.tabooboo.com for example which currently shows images of an adult nature.

For a variety of reasons, our Actinic's policy has always been not to sell to or support adult sites. At the same time, we are aware that some of our partners do work with such sites. We don't make a big song and dance about the policy, as this can get us into the sphere of trying to make moral judgements on other people's legal activities, which we don't want to do.

So in practise, if a site is what some people might consider borderline, in terms of whether it is adult or not, we will generally try to support it. But the responsibility may be moved around the support team as some people have a strong ethical objection to such sites, and we never force support onto the team above their objections.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to call us if you would like to discuss this in any more detail.
