    I've sinned...

I've been developing my first site and have made the mistake that I keep reading about on the letters pages of the IT supplements: it doesn't work in Netscape 7, Mozilla or Opera!

The site displays, but some of the images (footer etc) seem to have moved to the right.

I've checked the CSS compatibility with each of the companies and it seems fine.

I really don't want to exclude any people who prefer non microsoft browsers, so need some ideas on what the problem could be.

I imagine this is a common difficulty. Has anybody got a list of things that may cause problems? I really need to do a sanity check and any tips would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Could you post a URL so we can take a look?

      Hi

Just had a look at your site in FireFox and it doesn't look good. I think most of your issues are with your table sturcture, not an easy thing to fix.

What might be useful is to pass it through a HTML Validator as this will help pin point the problems. Try the one on the w3c site http://validator.w3.org/.

The other option is to save your current page and go back to an orginal file and start adding bits and seeing when the problems starts occuring. Both are time consumming but it is worth doing.

Hope this is of some help.

      Cheers
