    Change theme

We are about to change our 'theme' and attempt to integrate our own pages more closely with Actinic [we are using Business v7.0.1]

Whilst we develop the new site (I anticipate over a period of several months) we want to leave the present site intact (we often make daily updates) . . . apart from installing 'Business' on a 2nd machine or constantly importing/exporting snapshots I can't see any other way of doing this. A 2nd site license is £720 (upgrade to developer even more). . . but we only need it active whilst we are doing our development and testing work. Catalog LE would not allow us to work on a realistic level of 'live' data (over 4000 products).

So part question part wish list . . .

Question : is there a way of doing this simply on one machine and if not for my Wish List :- can future versions of the software (especially business) have built in a 'site 2' licensed for development work? perhaps limited to 'test mode'.

    Hi Tony

If you had a second PC you could install your Actinic license on that for development, but without that there is not way to do it other than disabling the upload of the store (change the ftp settings to do this) and then work on the site whilst just downloading new orders.

I have added this to the wish list for you.
