Swift Template Bug with Stock Control

I mentioned this bug a few weeks back about out of stock attributes are showing as a stock choice, despite being out of stock and having the “Hide out of options” box being ticked. Upon selection you get a red error box instead of the choice being omitted in the first place.

Sellerdeck (Bruce) was not able to replicate this and mentioned that it must be localised to myself.

I can advise that I can replicate this on a clean install of Sellerdeck.

Some options are indeed omitted from the choices, however, choose any of these combinations to see the error.

I'm still unable to reproduce this in a Swift site with “Hide out of options” ticked - only with it unticked, which is as designed.

If you could send a snapshot of your clean Swift install via http://portal.sellerdeck.co.uk/snapshot, I will do my best to figure out what's different between your site and mine.

Bruce has pretty much said it is by pointing out in the other post that a particular size had been omitted from the list.

It was not. I asked the developer to enable it and upload. It's done now and working.

I think that pretty much proves that it's not a bug in Swift. I will have a look at the offending snapshot when I receive it.

I am glad to see this working as it should. It would appear that it isn't a bug in Swift and I will need to look deeper as to why this isn't working.

The Red Herring here was the other post where you had said it was working, and pointed out that an out of stock option was omitted. Because I could then see the same issue on your site I saw this as the same issue I was having. It now turns out that your original post was incorrect and in fact it wasn't even turned on. So the choice you mentioned had been omitted from choice, not stock control. I spent hours trying to pin this down on the basis of your post. I am glad however that I can see it working as it gives me hope that I can sort it.
