Suspend Ordering

Have the ability to fully suspend ordering at the script level and not just remove the "buy" button... leaving the rest of the scripts working for links, searches etc

There may well be a way to do this using user-definable variables. The 'Upload' checkbox on a user-definable variable means the variable value gets added to the *.cat files that control the site. It is probably possible to configure the perl to change its behaviour based on a variable value. God knows how though

Probably an easier way would be to upload an alternative cart script that just displays "ordering is currently suspended" and then bounces the visitor back to where they came from.

I would think this is easy enough to code in perl.

Hmm: Would this only work if the quantity is confirmed in the cart? Not sure.
