For the next version can there be a feature which allows you to select an order or orders to not be overwritten by importing an update order file but does not contain this select order.

Or is it possible to get a local settings for each machine using Actinic to have the orders button to be disabled.

Try looking in the help for "Allow on this machine" - only one machine should be allowed to download orders.

Yes, but when you’re importing and exporting snaps between machines these settings get transferred across.

In what version of Actinic? This should NOT happen.

We last tried it in v8.0.3 and that happened, I remember as I got a phone call from my boss as I came out of a leacture. We just installed it a week before and got it running.

Can you check again in 8.0.4, and if you do find these particular settings changing, raise an Actinic Support ticket right away. That would need investigating.
