Hi,
(I'm still on V7, so if you've sorted this, forget the following.)
The ability to break large product sections into pages would be very useful. For example if I have 100 sub-sections in a section, it would be nicer to have 4 pages of 25, as opposed to 1 of 100, and in fact very cute if users could say how many products per page from a pull down of a couple of options.
The main reason for this is upload times on large pages.
Browsers want to be able to flick and skip around pages without waiting for full section uploads.
Maybe in the Section Layout Template you could have your first row second row layout defnition and follow this by maximum number of sub sections per page, for example 15, and Actinic then automatically generate the correct number of pages based on the number of sections and the number entered, and create all of the first page next page, stuff...
Example: If I had 52 Subsections in a Section, and set my Section Layout Template to 15, I would end up with 4 pages, all with a header and footer, like...
<last>, (1), (2), (3), (4), <next>
etc etc.
Thanks, Simon.
