variation on Compact HTML/CGI

Can we get a variation on the compact html/cgi switch whereby the comments AND OR blank lines are removed BUT the actual CRLF (carriage Return/LineFeeds) are left in situ.

I've been busy changing one of the layouts and I need to see whats happening within the actual generated code. - a more compact version of the generated code would be much apprciated, BUT I don't want all of the code to appear in ONCE single line

It would be nice to have a switch that says

• Remove comments Yes/No
• Remove blank lines Yes/No
• Full compaction Yes/No

and while we're on it, how about code obfuscation. i'm tired of punk ass thieves stealing all my clever javascript.

and what about a capitalisation/lowercase filter for tags?
