    Undo

The undo facility is absolutely useless.

You rarely get the chance to undo any changes.

I don't want to have to revert back to a snapshot, just because I want to undo something.

    It's a BASIC facility.

    Please address this.

I can support this call Cappa.

Not very useful at all, I thought this was addressed in V8.04 but it still does not perform.

Also, the DW 'Actinic' menu item still opens up actinic when you 'hover' over it...

Agreed: The DW 'hover' is also another real pain.

I don't always used DW for Actinic projects!

        Dave,

Can you tell me what exactly you are doing that is not reverting for you. If the cursor has lost focus once you have made a change you need to bring back the focus by clicking in either the code or the preview and then trying the undo button.

If you have moved away from the design tab or make any changes to the product data like changing the name etc, you will not be able to undo your design changes.

With regards to the Dreamweaver Hover, what version of Actinic are you on? I have just tried this with v8.5.0 and it does not happen, tried with MX as well as DW 8.

        Kind regards,

          Undo works ok for me.

But the stupid hover problem on the menu persists.

Interesting. Can you check to see if you have the latest DW extensions installed? In DW go to 'Help | Manage Extensions' and check to see if you are using 'Actinic External Design Extension Suite' v8.1.0, if you are, is it set to On or Off?

            Kind regards,

              Undo...

Ok, lets say I accidently (as I have just done) delete a size subsection, I go to undo, and it is greyed out.

V 8.1.0 and the checkbox is ticked. Recently installed as part of an 8.5 clean install.

If youve deleted a sub section and it has a red cross, reselect the sub section and press delete again to bring it back.

Yes, like Lee says or use the undlete option you get when you right click on the deleted section.

                    Lee,

Can you mail me a copy of an Act_Diagnose please.

Same here Bruce, 8.5 Act 8.02DW...still very annoying.

The Undo scenario seems clearer now ta.

                        Ok, bad example ...

If you open a section, and delete the text contained in the description box, then select something else (or it applies itself), then this text cannot be undone.

                        [edit]

Delete a button (Home, for example), move to another section and go back - this cannot be undone.

I think this was what I was doing when I refered to the delete -- I actually meant to say using 'cut'.

So if you 'cut' a product, this cannot be undone.

                            Ok Dave,

That will be added to the wish list for you.
