Perhaps this is why GC hasn't been added?

Anyone know if Google offers Ecommerce software suppliers commission to integrate Google Checkout, I can't find anything published, unlike the Paypal offer:-

Makes you wonder if Actinic users will ever get any payment methods other than Paypal?

Actinic MUST impliment google checkout. We are looking to rebuild our site in the autumn and GC will be a definate part of that. I believe that in 12 months time, GC sites will have a significant advantage over non GC sites.

I'm already frustrated that just about all of my competition are able this and we are not. I can't put up with that for too long.

One side of my business is already at the mercy of ebay/ paypal. I can't afford my website to suffer from their isolationist approach as well.

I'm looking at ditching Actinic altogether and going over to proper software, Actinic's concentration on Paypal makes it look more and more a software package for start ups.

Well it looks like they are doing something, reading back the thread but it's not happening soon enough. All we need at the moment is a button at checkout stage one that will take customers to google checkout and the shopping cart details with it. I'm happy initially to process the orders seperately from there or input them back into actinic as offline orders (we do this with amazon anyway). At least this would be a start and the customer would not know that we have to jump through a few hoops.

I've noticed a big drop in clicks on adwords in the last couple weeks. Are customers seeking out GC sites in the hope of the discount? Of course they are.

Problem with that of course is that the customer has not yet selected their shipping method..

Google Checkout is just another payment method that has cropped up this year. But with such a big name like Google behind it then Actinic must include it sooner or later...

This appears to be just the Google buy button that generates a single product code to add a buy button to an individual product (one at a time!).

A little time consuming when you have 1000 products, I'm considering going over to something like e.pages or similar.

Is it not possible to impliment the google html into checkout page 2 and get this working? I note that the product results on standard google are now dominated by sites using GC.

Come on Actinic. Gnnnn. A direct competitor of ours up the road has got the £10 off thingy on site now. I've even got google asking me to do it.
