Save custom layoutin the library so restore facility can be used

The option to save a custom layout in the library so that (when you make a hash of in a state of caffeine fuelled midnight acti-puzzelment) you can go back to where you started without having to resort to a snapshot import would be rather nifty.

Before embarking on round two of a customised layout I always take a copy in the library and then purge as and when no longer required.
