Choice affect shipping charge

Add function to "CHOICE".
So that you can apply different weight assignments within product |component |attribute | choice.
For example when the size chosen for a product greatly affects its weight.

If you add a component to a product, then the attribute and choices beneath the component, you can achieve this.

You then use the permutation tab of the component to select different products based on the choices. These products must be set up separately in a section which you don't display on the web site and can have their own weights, stock levels, tax treatments etc.

It's a bit convoluted and takes getting used to, but it works.

I think the "wish" was to not need these associated products at all.
Especially if the only reason for creating them is to manage weight-related shipping (or, indeed, stock control)

ETS..it would be helpful (not to mention time-saving) to be able to give certain properties to the choices themselves.
I'd like to add my vote to this one!
