Restricting Shipping Methods By Product

We made some great advances in shipping and forgive me if this has been mentioned, i know i have added on to other threads but felt it should have it's own.

To have the option to exclude products from various shipping methods. I have the option to send items by standard delivery which means i decide how i want to send and also royalmail special - the problem is you are limited on the size you can send by this method. Then mix in international deliveries aswell it gets a bit of a problem.

The easiest way i see this is to have all the shipping methods avaliable in a table under the product details and then you tick which box or multiple boxes for all the methods you can send it by. those items that are to big for royalmail special you do not tick the box.

I know it sounds easy this way and i do not have to do the coding but from my point of view this will pretty much give nearly everyone all the options the could possible want.

Seconded. We need to opt certain items out of royal mail and at the moment we use weight to do it. It's not perfect and it would be good to exclude them properly.
