    Multiple backup folders/options

just a thought as i backup/snapshot to the default folder

and transfer to the memory stick to keep safe and work on out of the office

just a tick box to put another location on would be great

    thanks

A nice suggestion. Cheers Gareth. I've passed this on to the team.

Chris - does the current snapshot verify itself or is it simply an archive?

Not sure what you mean John.

It's basically similar to an upload - in that Actinic goes through all the pages generating them in it's mind, and it works out all the files it needs to add to the snapshot from there. And then it zips up everything into a sort of zip file (which you can actually open with WinZip - often handy)

And also auto adding of current date/remembering the location and name on a per site basis (intead of coming up with the same location and name regardless of which site you are working on), as suggested somewhere else in the forum a few months back.
          Cheers

Dave - this is one I'd like to see as well, and I've mentioned this to the development team again on our behalf.

with recent posts about loss of sites etc on hd's

can we ask for an update on this feature?

or can you maybe "force" a backup after lets say 10 occasions of opening the software??

Or maybe amend the message (like sage...it has been over 1 week since backup) and tell the user to back up or face complete devastation if you pc is nicked, infected etc...
