Design Preview - Extended Info Layout

Could we please have an option to preview the Extended Info Page in the dropdown list in the design tab?

It's a pain, when you're working on the Extended info layouts, only being able to preview by generating the offline page and not being able to see it in the design preview pane.

I agree, in the meantime don't forget the preview button when on the extended tab.

I've used that a few times...it just means tab/window hopping a bit doesn't it? PITA when editting both the product and ext info layouts.

Being able to preview it in the design pane either by clicking on the layout in the design tree or by selecting it from the dropdown list would certainly make life a lot easier.

It is there in the Design Tree. Within the product layout, expand the 'Standard Extended Information Links' layout and you'll see it there.

it doesn't show as a PAGE preview though, Chris...only as a layout preview, IYSWIM

It's a bit of a song and dance changing tabs to get it to preview in the page preview and would be much more helpful if we could select it from the page preview dropdown instead.

Yep - I understand. The 'Select Page Type' drop down is not an option unfortunately as there could be many different types of extended information page layout on the same content page. The only option is to flick over to the 'Details' panel within the 'Design' tab and click the 'Preview' button on the 'Extended Information' tab to bring up the preview.
