Notes on orders tab

As a nursery which has seasonal shipping patterns it would be a great help for us if we could add notes to the tabulated orders listing on the orders page. ie ship 28th Sept, or away so and so dates, or a particular plant which we will send when dormant ie Erythronium we send in August so we can spot them quickly and easily. We can have a couple of hundred orders unfulfilled, as plants kinda outgrow the ability to send them particularly to the EU, at this time of year and waiding through them on screen takes ages. We use the colour system to indicate some things but an area for notes would be great. We have no interest in the % sent etc so for us it could go there.

Thanks for the suggestion.

In our 'Enterprise' application we currently have a 'Next Action' date which can be used to just enter a date when the next thing is due to happen. Is this the sort of thing you are after? There's a good chance you'll see this in other products in the Actinic range when the next release is out.

That sounds as though it may be ideal. It is our own incompetance that when running through a batch of orders we miss things because of not having an message system on the orders page, it would help. It would be a good pluggin for catalogue, I know it doesn't interest developers but when you have to manage a good number of orders with different delivery dates an obvious system like that would be great.
