Rather than the use of attributes and componants for simple things like colour and size calculations, it would be nice if the product page displayed the present information plus a table where you could enter both sizes available and also sizes with any extra charges as well
This could then possibly follow a standard reference code addition to the main item, something like
Colours Sizes Extra Charge
RED 36 0.0
Green 38 0.0
Blue 40 1.0
This would give
The main product say sweatshirts ref sweat1 at £10.00 then
Product cost
sweat36red £10.00
sweat38green £10.00
sweat40blue £11.00
Much easier for most to enter product information, also if incorporated with stock much easier to view and change
You could also automatically place a colour and size drop down box on the product
