Add a location field for products

Tied in with a report upgrade you could then run off stock lists for a particular shelf (or whatever) in your store (even including or excluding the product category).

We're always wanting to print off product lists for one section (and all, or selected subsections).

Its the best way I know of at the moment to print out a single (sub) section list.

Just out of interest George, are you requesting for some "thing", either in Actinic or a plug-in, that will allow you to print/display stock levels by selective section/sub-section from your Actinic store?

Possibly into some kind of table/grid that allows you to order by stock levels, date of last sale etc....

Let me know your thoughts..... my thinking cap has just gone on!

              Aye.

And if there was an existing field (within the product information) you could insert the product location into you could also make it location oriented (instead of categorised or sectionised). The discussion opens up a number of ways to improve the available information.

Almost (bar the location) all the information is already there it just needs (cleverly) extracted.

There must be many large Actinic sites that use stock control who could use this info (imho anyway).

For some lists you can print the existing Catalog Summary to pdf, then print off only the sections you need.
