Direct connection to HSBC epayments

Can Actinic please include the option to connect directly to HSBC epayments without having to go via the SSL redirect on actinicsecure.

Anyone with checkout on SSL has no need to use the actinic secure redirect so it adds another redirect (not good), another point of failure (not good) and an opening to DOS attacks that Actinic can not afford to protect against as they're making no money from the service.

I feel really uneasy about posting this last bit on the forum but Actinic need to understand the issues and everyone using HSBC should understand the risk this presents.

Add my vote - although I have used the Actinic link for many years with many sites and never had a problem but the option would be a good one.

agreed, would help with the seamless transfer big time and not confuse the poor customer.
