the ability to upload a single section

I would like the ability to upload a single section by right clicking on it.

If it was a new section would it break the linkings?, and if new products were added would that not break any search word lists?

What I meant was - a single section - plus any other pages that need to be uploaded because of the update. (To keep integrity).

The user could be presented with a list of all pages that this upload would force - and if this presented pages that the user didn't want uploaded (behaps because not finished.) the upload could be cancelled.

this is an interesting idea, but sadly it cant work.

there are too many variables to consider.

what if the marketing items are different now?
what if templates have changed?

i agree its not as it should be, but it cant really be changed.

A warning saying - Marketing lists will be taken from last full upload? (which would be saved in a different table in the database).
A error saying - The design templates have changed therefore a full upload is required?

Just an idea...

in that case, your request is already a feature of actinic.

actinic only uploads only changed sections. and uploads relevent parts of the heirachy if they ahve changed as well, as a result of your change.

I understand where you're coming from however, i'd love this feature myself.
