retain the position and size of the "compare with factory version" window

I'm busy upgrading a site and continually checking if the existing layout needs amending and I''m always opening up the "compare with factory version" window

problem is, the window opens up 3" x 2" thats about as much use as a fart in a space suit.
the first thing I have to do is stretch it to an acceptable shape and size.

lets have a "remember last window position and size setting" somewhere please
