Ability to switch PSPs on and off

With all the recent problems with psps it would be nice to have the ability to suspend psps from the payments tab. This would mean that if a psp went down it would be easy to suspend it on the website without having to remove it and reconfigure when you want it back.

I agree, the protx balls up last year (jees first time i have used that) was a classic example

agreed..it would be handy to have a "hide on website" option for the payment methods.

Even handier if the psp's had a Plan B.

This is a good suggestion. I've passed it on to the team.

                  A possible temporary workaround:

Create a "dummy" customer, check the PSP "Limit to Defined Customers" checkbox in the "Payment and Security" tab, then assign PSP option to customer in customer account screen effectively limiting the PSP to a single customer, but I agree - a "hide on website" would be very useful.
