can we have an encoding that presents variables with absolutely no formating; "Strip Formatting" for instance like "Strip HTML" but more drastic.

£3,400.88 to be 3400.88
<a href="#">Product Name</a> to be: Product Name

This is for Analytics and Affiliate Tracking.

Furthermore can we have all the basket variables that aren't repeating elements (Total, Sub Total, Shipping and Tax) progressed up the design tree so that they can be called anywhere in the page.

This will give us almost complete control over Tracking without having to get into the perl.

Thanks Wayne - I've passed these on to the team.

I'm currently playing with the new Google Analytics code which needs all currency symbols and commas stripped out of all prices. I've had to get some JavaScript code written which strips out all unwanted things with a regular expression. As soon as I get the thing working (I've a way to go yet) I'll publish the code on here.
