More than one image in a fragment

Working on something today, and wanted to create some text with images and thought it would be handy to have more than one image in a fragment, then the layout could be style to suit ones needs.

I know i can use more fragment with individual layouts, but thought about being able to decide were the image is placed using a marker in the text area, a bit like the link marker.

wondered what others thoughts on this would be.

Not something I would probably use - I tend to use text only fragments and sit my html inside it. Otherwise if I wanted something simpler for a client then I would create another layout with a CV or two.

I use embedded html but it gets a bit of a pain sometimes, just thinking of ways around it.

I would think the way you're doing it now with embedded html is the best way to do this.

To place an image somewhere within text would need all the formating and positioning to be defined and I suspect this is best done manually by someone who knows what they're doing rather than trying to define it within actinic.

Or you could create a triptych effect and load just the one image

              Triptych

Hi that's the way I do it if I need to, just do a montage / tryptych image in Paintshop Pro or Photoshop, saves loads of fiddling with HTML.

why not create variable for images 2,3,4 etc and then create a layout with placemarkers to the extra variables

Thanks mike, unfortunately this is a down side of using the hack for limiting the description to x words, any embedded html ends up with the markers shown.

I have removed the buttons and changed the product layouts, actinic is not used to process the orders, so does not matter

                    thanks

Anyone would think i have been breaking stuff

Ok opted for a variable for special text rather than embedded html, then at least i can put what i like in and its already styled.

Have you tried right clicking on the block and selecting the option strip HTML (or words to that effect - not on Actinic PC)... I had similar issue with a sliding display of best sellers displaying the embedded HTML markers.
