Duplicate Page Checking

Actinic has recently moved duplicate page checking from the point of page creation to the upload process. Discussions can be read here http://community.actinic.com/showthr...=39915&page=15

I think that this is bad idea as now the only way you will be told of page duplications is when an upload fails - my wish is for this change to be reverted back to the page creation stage so we dont get the problem in the first place.

I'll second that. But I'd also be happy with an optional Advanced Mode with reduced error checking that disables it.

Yep it could simply be added to the warning management options

So you could potentially have hundreds of page name duplication errors and only notice them on a test (or regular) upload?

I would prefer a return to duplicate page checking at the point of page creation, with a checkbox for large sites to opt out of duplicate page error checking at point of creation.
