Hi
I hope I can explain this but, currently if you offer a coupon discount say 10% and a customer uses the coupon to get 10% off the total before shipping costs. Now if a product is for some reason not available in an order, a cancel and refund amount is generated on the original price not the discounted price.
I would like, if you have a discount % used, refunds should only be for the reduced price and not the full amount before a discount is applied.
It creates huge problems to administer in its present form. Thankfully we don't have many shortages.
Regards
Nigel
