    Discount refunds

    Hi

I hope I can explain this but, currently if you offer a coupon discount say 10% and a customer uses the coupon to get 10% off the total before shipping costs. Now if a product is for some reason not available in an order, a cancel and refund amount is generated on the original price not the discounted price.

I would like, if you have a discount % used, refunds should only be for the reduced price and not the full amount before a discount is applied.

It creates huge problems to administer in its present form. Thankfully we don't have many shortages.

    Regards

    Hello Nigel

For clarification, are you using Actinic Payments?

We use sage pay primarily with paypal as a backup.

We use Actinic for order processing (V9) and it is the paperwork generated which is the problem, as a coupon code discount for entire orders is not recalculated if a refund is made. ie a refund will be shown for the full price not the discounted price.

        Hello Nigel

Just so I can understand this better, could you please list the steps you undertake to reach the refund amount? Is this within the SagePay user interface?
