Theme Changes In SellerDeck Version 11

SellerDeck v11 introduces a significant change in the way themes are handled, which will be further extended in future versions. The new themes – Academic, Edge and Fresh – are not compatible with the older ones, and outer layouts are not interchangeable between the two standards.

As a result, you cannot use the Academic, Edge or Fresh outer layouts with any of the other themes; and you cannot use any of the other outer layouts with these three. You can however use the Academic or Edge outer layouts with the Fresh theme, etc.

The new themes differ from the old ones in the following ways:
    1. Each theme has its own style sheet in the ‘Web Page Outer Layout’ library group
    2. The outer page design is entirely CSS-based and under the control of the stylesheet
    3. All new themes use consistent semantic markup, with the same meaningful name (id or class) being used for the same page area across all themes, eg ‘header-area’, ‘navigation-bar’, ‘content-area’)
    4. Core Actinic styles, which are always the same regardless of theme,
are placed in a separate ‘Actinic Core Styles’ stylesheet, which is in the ‘Theme Stylesheets’ library group and linked from each theme stylesheet
Some of the internal layouts still use legacy styles from the old themes, and definitions for these are included temporarily in the Actinic Core Styles stylesheet. In a future release, further new themes will be added and legacy styles eliminated from the remaining layout groups, and the old themes and layouts will be retired.

In addition to the new theme standard, version 11 introduces consistency in button style throughout the site.
