An error occured initializing the advanced shipping plug-in

If you receive the following error message: -

'An error occured initializing the advanced shipping plug-in. This usually happens when the plug-in OCX file has been moved or removed'

To solve this problem on a 32bit (x86) PC please see below:

1) Open the ‘Start’ menu, select Run (or type ‘Run’ into the search bar) and in the Run window put in ‘cmd’




2) Once you have Command Prompt open, enter the following:

cd C:\Program Files\SellerDeck 2013

(or if you’ve installed SellerDeck elsewhere select that)

3) After entering this, put the following:

regsvr32 ActShipHand.ocx

You should then get a message box pop up:




RegSvr32

DllRegisterServer in ActShipHand.ocx succeeded

To solve this problem on a 64bit PC please see below:

1. Open the ‘Start’ menu, select Run (or type ‘Run’ into the search bar) and in the Run window put in ‘cmd’

2. Once you have Command Prompt open, enter the following:

cd C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck 2013

(or if you’ve installed SellerDeck elsewhere select that).

3. After entering this, put the following:

regsvr32 ActShipHand.ocx

You should then get a message box pop up:

RegSvr32

DllRegisterServer in ActShipHand.ocx succeeded

If this does not work, please try the following: -

1. Right Click on Desktop and select 'New | Shortcut'
2. In the dialog box enter the following: -
   
   %systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck 2013\ActShipHand.ocx"
   
   
3. Press Next and then Finish
4. Right click the Shortcut created and 'Run as Administrator'.
