Why, when importing a flat file and doing an update, does SellerDeck duplicate the products instead of updating the original products?
The duplication of products occur when the "Auto generate product references" is checked in 'Business Settings | Options'. SellerDeck thinks that the products are new due to the different product reference assigned when importing. The import file needs to have a "Product Reference" column inserted with a unique code for each product. Therefore, you could temporarily un-tick the 'Auto generate product references' box, import the file and then re-tick it. Alternatively, always have the 'auto-generate' references box un-ticked and set the references in the import file.
