All filtering side bar options appear, although some options should not appear.

If you are finding that the side bar filtering on your site, shows all available filtering options you have created, when it should only show some options, as some options are not in use for some products in the section, please see the workaround below:

1. Open “Notepad”, which can be found on your PC, go to 'Start > All programs > Accessories > Notepad'
2. Copy and paste the code in the 'Code' box below into the notepad file:
   
   

   Options -MultiViews
   CheckSpelling Off

3. Save the file as File Type: "All files" and File name: ".htaccess" (Note the full stop).
4. Save the file in your site folder, which could be in a location similar to:
   
   C:\Users\Public\Documents\SellerDeck 2013\Sites\Site1
   
   
5. In SellerDeck, go to Design | Additional files | Click “Add” and find the file “.htaccess”
6. Click “OK”
7. In SellerDeck, go to Web | Publish to web.

If you wish to reverse this process because problems occur, please see below:

1. Open “Notepad”, which can be found on your PC, go to 'Start > All programs > Accessories > Notepad'
2. Leave the notepad file blank (Empty)
   
3. Save the file as File Type: "All files" and File name: ".htaccess" (Note the full stop).
4. Save the file in your site folder, which could be in a location similar to:
   
   C:\Users\Public\Documents\SellerDeck 2013\Sites\Site1
   
   
5. In SellerDeck, go to Design | Additional files | Click “Add” and find the file “.htaccess”
6. Click “OK”
7. In SellerDeck, go to Web | Publish to web.
