Error setting global variables. 3320function is not available

When I open SellerDeck EPOS I get an error message and the “Sales” button does not work:

    error setting global variables

    and then:

3320Function is not available in expressions in table-level validation expression

To resolve this problem you need to reinstall Epson OPOS on the PC, and if you have any hardware connected, you will need to reconfigure your hardware in OPOS. Please see below:

    Re-installing the OPOS driver.
    1. Firstly make notes of how your current setup is configured. Go to Start\Programs\OPOS\SetupPOS Ver2.00. - Click on the little black plus sign next to the printer icon and then click on the ‘Communications Settings’ icon to check the setup.

    2. Write down or take a screen shot of the settings,

Do the same for Line Display and Cash Drawer.
    3. Close the SetupPOS Ver2.00 and EPOS software if it’s open.
    4. Open 'Windows Explorer' and browse to the 'C:\checkout\Opos 250e\Disk1\'
    5. Double-click on the 'Setup.exe' file to run it
    6. When asked to select a registry file, choose “Use Registry file”, then click the 'Browse' button and browse to: “C:\checkout\Opos 250e\Disk1\OposData.reg”. Click 'Open'
    7. When asked to 'Choose a Package to be installed', select 'Program Files'
    8. Select 'CCO' for the 'CO priority registration' option
    9. Select 'Full Install' for the 'Type of installation'
    10. If a message appears saying “do you use parallel IF” select “no”
    11. The SetupPOS Ver2.00 will now re-open so you can check your hardware settings and adjust if necessary.
    12. By default OPOS installs Line Display\Receipt Printer and Cash Drawer all on Com 1. If all your hardware connects via serial port then plug your Line Display into Com 1, your printer into the port on the actual line display and your cash drawer into the back of the printer.
    13. If your hardware connects differently then your need to delete the line display and add the hardware back into OPOS, if you need to do this then please see underneath.

Deleting and adding the hardware back into OPOS.
    1. Open OPOS - Start\Programs\OPOS\SetupPOS Ver2.00
    2. Click on the little black plus sign next to the Line display icon and then highlight the Line Display DM-D210 - right click and choose delete\yes\ok - this will remove all hardware from OPOS.
    3. Right click on printer\add new device\choose the TM-T88111 and give the LDN a name of unit1

      click next
    4. Assign the correct com port number from the com port settings drop down box. Assign the correct BaudRate setting

(to find out what the printer baud rate setting is on your printer, turn it off and back on again with your finger held down on the feed button, it will state it at the top of the print out\after printed, turn off printer and back on so you have a static green light on the front of it) press next once the settings have been entered.
    5. Press CheckHealth Interactive to test the settings\start\it ought to print a little bit of paper\close\ok\finish. If you receive an error message

then check your com port settings and baud rate settings as noted in point 4 and alter until you have a successful healthcheck.
    6. Now setup the Line Display. Right click on LineDisplay\add new device\choose the DM-D210 and give the LDN a name of unit1

      click next.
    7. Assign the correct com port number the Pole Display is connected to. Assign the correct baud rate number, by default its 9600 and most displays will be set to this

Check your Pole Displays baud rate by turning it off and on again, it will show you what it’s set to on the display screen when it boots up. If it’s set to anything than 9600, refer to the pole displays user guide on how to change the baud rate, this is usually done through altering the dip switches. When set select Finish.
    8. Finally setup the Cash Drawer, this will be connected through the receipt printer. Plug the cash drawer RJ11 port into the back of the printer. In OPOS, Right click on Cash Drawer\add new device\choose Standard and give the LDN a name of unit1

      click next.
    9. Assign the same com port as you assigned to the printer. The baud rate also needs to match what was set for the printer.

      Select finish.
