If you get the errors similar to the following:
"Can not open this file, this file is located outside your intranet or an unauthorized site"
"Will not open this file because of security problems"
It may be because your firewall has blocked the checkout.mde file from running. This can happen if you download this file from the internet or from across a network.
You should be able to clear it by doing the following:
You should now be able to run EPOS as normal.

You should be able to clear it by doing the following:
- Open 'Windows Explorer'
- Browse to the 'C:\checkout\' folder
- Right-click on the 'Checkout.mde' file and select 'Properties'
- You will see the message below:
- "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." You will also see a button next to it saying 'Unblock'
- Click 'Unblock'
- Click 'Apply'.
You should now be able to run EPOS as normal.
