How do I charge for a deposit on an order I have taken with SellerDeck payments?

Note: you will need SellerDeck Ecommerce Payments AND SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments for the following to work.

SellerDeckc Ecommerce Payments needs to be in pre-authorise mode to charge a deposit with SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments set to Charge immediately.
    1. Download your order as normal.
    2. Open the order, go to “Progress and payments”, then click "Pay" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit).

      OR
    3. Click "Commit" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit), the outstanding balance is now updated.
    4. When you are ready to charge the remaining balance, press “Pay” and enter the remaining balance.

NOTE: The original authorisation on the order may expire after 30 days and you may not be able to perform a commit after this period.

    5. If this happens, you can press the “Pay” button to charge the same card.

If SellerDeck Ecommerce Payments is set to pre-authorise mode and SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments is also set to pre-authorise then you can still take a deposit in the following method.
    1. Download your order as normal.
    2. Open the order, go to “Progress and payments”, then click "Pay" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit).
    3. Click "View payments" find the transaction for the offline payment (MOTO) and Click "Commit".
    4. When you are ready to charge the remaining balance, return to your order progress and payments tab press commit and enter the remaining balance.

NOTE: The authorisation on the original transaction may expire after 30 days and you may not be able to perform a commit.

    5. If this happens, you can press the “Pay” button to charge the same card the outstanding amount voiding the original transaction.
