Note: you will need SellerDeck Ecommerce Payments AND SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments for the following to work.
SellerDeckc Ecommerce Payments needs to be in pre-authorise mode to charge a deposit with SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments set to Charge immediately.
If SellerDeck Ecommerce Payments is set to pre-authorise mode and SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments is also set to pre-authorise then you can still take a deposit in the following method.
SellerDeckc Ecommerce Payments needs to be in pre-authorise mode to charge a deposit with SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments set to Charge immediately.
- Download your order as normal.
- Open the order, go to “Progress and payments”, then click "Pay" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit).
OR - Click "Commit" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit), the outstanding balance is now updated.
- When you are ready to charge the remaining balance, press “Pay” and enter the remaining balance.
NOTE: The original authorisation on the order may expire after 30 days and you may not be able to perform a commit after this period.
- If this happens, you can press the “Pay” button to charge the same card.
If SellerDeck Ecommerce Payments is set to pre-authorise mode and SellerDeck CNP/MOTO payments is also set to pre-authorise then you can still take a deposit in the following method.
- Download your order as normal.
- Open the order, go to “Progress and payments”, then click "Pay" and enter "£1" (or the amount you wish to charge as a deposit).
- Click "View payments" find the transaction for the offline payment (MOTO) and Click "Commit".
- When you are ready to charge the remaining balance, return to your order progress and payments tab press commit and enter the remaining balance.
NOTE: The authorisation on the original transaction may expire after 30 days and you may not be able to perform a commit.
- If this happens, you can press the “Pay” button to charge the same card the outstanding amount voiding the original transaction.
