When trying to upload the store I get 'Error renaming fultext.fil to oldtext.fil, permission denied'.
This may be caused by incorrect permissions on the acatalog directory on your server.To check this:
1) Select 'Test' in 'Web | Network Setup'. If the test fails on permissions, with a message like 'Unable to write to directory' etc., then change the permissions on the 'acatalog' directory and refresh the site (Web | Refresh Website).
Alternativley the *.fil files may not be writeable by the scripts, this can happen if the effective user of the scripts has changed since the *.fil files were originally uploaded. You will need to delete the following files from your site folder and from the acatalog folder on the server:-
diff*.fil
old*.fil
new*.fil
full*.fil
prev*.fil
cand*.fil
Select 'Web | Refresh Website', this will cause SellerDeck Ecommerce to completely refresh all of the necessary data files.
This can also be done from Help | Troubleshooting | 'Purge and Refresh Web Site' which does the above automatically.
