Componant prices as a percentage value

using componants prices I cangive a price for one item and say a discounted price for 6 items and another for say 12 items but have to calculate and enter each price for each option

Is there a way to use fixed percentages so the retail = say 100% or £10.00, 6 items = -5% of retail price and 12 =-10% of retail price

It does seem very long winded to be forced to enter a price each time and massive job when price rises come in a couple of times a year with larger sites
