    Cash Sales

    Am I correct in assuming that any sales allocated to "cash sale" are shown in the profit analyasis as 100% profit as no cost figure can be calculated?

    also as we sell quite a few very small loose items (dog chews etc) our cash sale count is nearly 2,000 sales ( shown in the product file log) ie it says STOCK 0, SALES 1899. What confusses me is what effect this has on the sales / profit log? as it creates a bit of a false picture.

    I am tempted to ban the use of the cash sale button, but it would cause delays at the till

      Hi Mark

      Yes they would show as 100% margin. You can exclude the Cash Sale prodcut (usually product code '1') from all reports by unchecking the 'Include on Reports' option on the product form.
