Quantity Discount Question

We've been using the software for sometime now and have just upgraded to 2.73. Problem we've got is on Multibuy Discounts. We've 5 items at various prices that we've set a multibuy at buy 2 for xx.xx 4 for xx.xx however it's not taking into account the different selling prices and is not taking the correct discount away. If all the products are the same then no problem, mix the items and the discount fails. ANy ideas anyone??

Hav eyou tried using the fixed price deal? This way you can select all the products you want to be part of the promotion, but have a fixed price for say any 3 combination of the products that are members of this promotion.
