    Error Messages on Startup

Just installed EPOS system for the first time, when starting up the software I get the following two error messages one after the other:

Error setting global variables from main database.

3320Function is not available in expressions in table-level validation expression

Clicking on ok then allows me to log in to the system and it all appears to be working ok. Anyone know how I can get rid of these errors?

    Hi Leon

Please can you tell me if the problem is still persisting . You said that the error only occurs on startup and the all works fine so are able to carry on normal operation within EPOS then? Also can you tell me if you have installed EPOS on a Vista OS?

    Kind Regards

Hi Kiran, the EPOS is on XP. As far as I can tell we have normal operation once past the errors. We've only just set it up and its not in full use yet so there may be something we come accross later.

          Hi Leon,

I believe I have seen this error message before when you first try to open Actinic EPOS. Please can you try reinstalling Epson OPOS as I believe this to be the cause of the problem.

          1) Browse to: C:\checkout\Opos 250e\Disk1\Setup.exe

          2) Run this file

          3) Under registry file select: “Use Registry file”, then browse to: “C:\checkout\Opos 250e\Disk1\OposData.reg”

          4) Package to be installed “Program Files”

          5) Choose CO priority registration: “CCO”

          6) Type of installation “Full Install”

OPOS will now be reinstalled and you should be able to open EPOS now.
