    Stock Status and Quarantine

    Hello everyone,

    I'd appreciate some help regarding a particular stock issue we're having. Our current EPOS system does not allow us to set up a 'quarantine area' for cases where stock has been damaged or is faulty. Stock, as far as the system is concerned, is either in-stock or out-of-stock. We have no way of flagging or otherwise isolating individual items that are waiting to be returned to the supplier. This can result in several problems - stock levels are distorted and re-orders can be delayed as the system thinks we have more items in stock that we can actually sell, and our sales staff can end up hunting for items that have been taken off-sale due to defects.

    Does Actinic EPOS have the functionality to create a 'quarantine area' to isolate such items?

    Does Actinic EPOS have the functionality to create a 'quarantine area' to isolate such items?
    Currently there is no functionality for this within EPOS, but I will add this feature to the wishlist for you. As you mensioned currently using stock in and stock out is the only way to move stock in and out of EPOS.
