Newby help...!!

Hello everbody!!. i am fairly new to actinic. I have a few problems i wonder if any of you guys can maybe shed some light on. I am trying to create a cash sale button so if one of my juniors cannot find a particular product they can at least take the cash . would it be then possible to assign this a cattagorie, or supplyer to keep the figures in sinc. Also i cant get the pole display to work or the till to open!!. I have tried re-installing the software but still no luck the health check works fine but they will not work during the sale. I bought the package about 5 months ago but never got around to using it until december so its out of its 30 free back-up help.

Hi Paul - re the 'cash sale' element of your problem. We sorted this out by creating a product called 'Cash Sale', assigned to a supplier called 'shop' (or whatever) - The product hasn't been assigned a value which means that the user enters the value during the transaction.

Whenever we do a cash sale, we reprint a receipt and write what the product was so that we can go into the system at a later date/time and create the product so that we can sell it, and then refund the cash sale.
